Pretest – Hypertension

The pretest questions will assess how much you know before you take the course. At the end of the pretest questions, you will be provided with the correct answer; if your answer is incorrect.

Case Presentation

Mr K is a 45-year-old data analyst. The company he is about to join has requested a medical report. So, he comes to the clinic for a routine medical check. He has no complaints and no underlying medical condition. His blood pressure (bp) is 146/90mmHg, and his pulse is 88 beats/minute. He said he smokes cigarettes occasionally, usually at the weekends, and drinks two bottles of beer a day. He has no family history of hypertension. The rest of his examination is unremarkable.
